The day of Usain Bolt’s final race, we created a digital victory lap so all his fans worldwide could run along with him. To do this, we created 41 unique pieces of art, one for each step Usain took in his history-shattering 9.58 second world record race, where each illustration told a deeper story about 41 incredible achievements in his career.
The art was used to create Instagram's first ever digital flip book within an Instagram Story, allowing people to animate Usain's 9.58 run by tapping through the illustrations as quickly as Bolt moved his feet. This one has been recognized by the Clios, Cannes Lions and The One Show.
